The symbols of the Seasons Cross depict the solar year and thereby honor the Sun. The symbol to the west is Spring, sprouting seed out of the orb. To the north is Summer an open cup, full blown plant. To the east: Autumn an inverted cup, seeds return to the earth. To the south: Winter, dormant seeds underground.
