I've gotten into the habit of using the same few herbs in my work lately and I felt that today was the day to branch out. I mean, we have an entire wall full of herbs here at Candle Wick to choose from, so I've created some interesting herb concoctions made from Wicked Good Herbs that we have at the shop.

Calming

• Lavender: Lavender is full of loving energy and promotes self-love and peacefulness. It also calms uncontrolled emotions.
• Lemon Verbena Leaf: Not only does this herb boost whatever kind of spell you are working on, it is also great for cleansing and getting rid of those nasty feelings that keep you from chilling out.
• Raspberry: Combine this with the two herbs above it for a little bit of patience. 

Road Opener

• Yarrow Flower: "Yarrow connects you directly to divine wisdom. With divine wisdom at your back, your fears are replaced by courage....." This will give you the courage you need to remove whatever is keeping you from your goals.
• St. John's Wort: Use to ward away negative forces and evil. Removing negativity leads to a more prepared you.
• Mullein: Use to drive away those annoying road blocks.

Passion

• Jasmine Flower: This flower attracts physical, emotional, and spiritual love. 
• Patchouli: "Sexual desire can be aroused when patchouli's aroma is shared. It releases anxiety around sex, promotes lust, and stimulates passion between two people."
• Amber Resin: Enhances and empowers whatever spell or intention you are projecting. It also attracts loving energy. 

Happiness

• Clover: Clover brings in the vibration of healthy connections in relationships, friendships, marriage and love.
• Dandelion Leaf: Often used for divination, Dandelion is also great for wishing and happiness spells. Dandelion is sacred to Hekate, so it is very protective.
• Fenugreek Seed: Fenugreek's magic starts with the mind. It opens up the door to more possibilities and inspires new direction of your actions, as well as cleares out your fears.

We all know how to die, but do we know how to live?  Chapter 6, Title. 

So as everyone knows, I tend to write solely what I believe is able to be customized to situations. But what if you have a very specific situation that needs addressing? What if you need a little help finding what candles, herbs, stones etc. that would help you better the situation? Well I'm glad you asked! Usually, I'd tell you to come to the shop and allow me to pull something specific to your situation. Well, What if you can't get  to the shop? You may be an online customer. That doesn't mean that I have forgotten about you guys. I thought I would let you in on a tiny snippet of what I use for various situations in my life, and you could use that as a guide.

For the last couple weeks my honey and I have been a wee bit more that a little ruffled with each other. For various reasons we've had a little time apart. During that time apart, I decided to take advantage of all the advice I give to others in similar situations, and light some candles, take a bubble bath, and have a tasty libation of some sort.

Here's what I did. I grabbed my Happiness Blessed Herbal Candle, Love's Enchantment Blessed Herbal Candle , Energy and Will Blessed Herbal Candle, Heart Blessed Herbal Candle, and Healing Blessed Herbal Candle, grabbed my pie plate I use for candles only, rubbed on a couple drops of Everything and Then Some oil and set the wicks ablaze. I stated out loud my intention, which just so happened to be to smooth things out with my honey and return us to the happiness that was our norm, wrote down the specifics of our situation and burned the paper.

Pretty simple really. That can easily be customized to any woes that may be troubling you. Now go and smooth out and state your intention to the universe. If you never ask, how are you to receive?

I was having a conversation the other day with a customer that was full of questions about our crystals (one of my favorite subjects), and thought that y'all might benefit from a bit of information about selecting crystals for some general-use things like money draw, attraction, healing, etc. Crystals are perfect for those of you that don't have time to do long rituals, or are always on the go.
